Meet Scratch Cat!
Scratch is a block based coding platform created by MIT (Massechusetts Institute of Technology). This enables beginners of all ages to learn the principles of coding without needing to learn a coding language or type. This visual interface is powerful enough to create complex projects to engage older students and easy enough for grade one students to gain confidence.

Our Scratch Course Path
Scratch Foundations Module
6 months
We start with the basic building blocks in a literal sense! This module is a collection of ideas, strategies, and activities for an introductory creative computing experience using the Scratch programming language. The activities are designed to support familiarity and increasing fluency with computational creativity and computational thinking.
Scratch Intermediate Module
6 months
This module builds on the foundation curriculum to complete one year of Scratch coding classes. It is an intermediate Scratch curriculum to help our students develop greater creative and conceptual fluency with code. The curriculum reimagines the classroom as a design studio: a culture of learning in which students explore, create, share, and reflect.
Scratch and Robotics
12 Months+
If your child prefers to learn coding robots then this scratch based course is for you! We have a full year of programming a robot on how to navigate around obstactles, how to follow a path, and so many more fun challenges. During the course of the year we participate in the World Robotics Olympiad in-house club challenges. Start here for kids aged 11+ younger kids will benefit from first doing the previous two modules.
